Overview
Halifax Solar is a 5 MW (AC) ground mounted array located on in Halifax, Massachusetts. Halifax Solar is a qualified Solar Tariff Generating Unit (STGU) eligible for the Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target or SMART Tariff. The project is interconnected to the National Grid electrical distribution network.
The project was commissioned in December of 2019. Halifax Solar is also qualified as a Community Generating Solar Unit (CGSU) that provides electric bill credits to a group of subscribers who are National Grid customers located in Massachusetts.
